Freeze EstateDAO

Ah he’s from a rich family, rules don’t apply to people like them. He crossed the line though..

can anybody lend me ICP im running low now

You’re starting to see the truth. There is only one thing to do.
@jokerswild

I guess so. The only redeeming thing about this entire fiasco is that other than the $BIL hack which was due to a smart contract vulnerability obviously not done on purpose by the dev, we haven’t had massive breaches, theft, and hacking on the IC. This is truly an AMAZING FEAT after 4 years online!

Instead, the crooks had to find a way to take advantage of the SNS to steal from the Neuron fund as well as node and staking rewards and hoodwink the community.

We can fix the SNS and Node provider system to avoid future fraud but it is a testament to DFINITY’s protocol and all the groundbreaking crypto work that the system has passed this rigorous, lengthy & essentially live testing phase here that we have all been a part of.

So happy joy joy 4th post genesis bday for ICP here soon!

I would say let the games begin but literally let the BURN begin!

BURN THE DAM SWAMP MONSTERS and let’s get deflationary as well!

Borovan, it’s time for DRAGGINZ man! You must be a dragon yourself because you’re breathing fire and burning down these SNS’s even BEFORE dragginz launches! Halleluah! LOL

Don’t worry, you won’t owe me that much. Some loose change for you most likely.

So what’s your next move @borovan and the community’s next moves in regards to ‘Draining The Swamp’ here when your proposals ultimately fail which you knew they would when you submitted them since those teams hold the majority of the supply and thus voting power?

Is the strategy to make the community aware by constantly annoying these guys and making it so that they cannot Transfer ICP out of the treasury for their operations like Fuel EV? In Fuel EV’s case they have thrown in the towel already and are ready to reverse their SNS so that’s a win but Estate Dao and esp. DOLR AI will be much harder to take action against correct?

One other thought.

It seems to me that another issue is that of founders who want to go the SNS route but they don’t want to adhere to decentralization. Instead they want majority control. They wanted to ensure their SNS’s went through, that they got neuron fund funding, but that they also have majority control to basically do whatever they like with or without the community’s input and therefore the entire voting for those SNS’s are a complete ruse and a huge waste of time for the community. It seems greed and human nature are screwing with the basic tenets of what ICP is supposed to be here: a decentralized, community owned and operated open software distributed world computer. Therefore, there needs to be strict limits as to how much teams can own when doing any offering on the SNS otherwise they will need to remain private (to their own detriment) like Taggr has done.

I would have imagined that the Taggr devs would have finally realized they should have gone the SNS route instead of doing their own internal DAO but they would rather let their project go to 0, then to truly open it up to the public the way they should? It’s very sad to see.

Hmm maybe Taggr could have one of these SNSs? Would they be open to that?

If they want to save their dapp from going under they definitely should take it on!

From EstateDAO to TaggrDAO! A real dapp with a great dev (but bad businessman).

I know he won’t do it because he’s so attached to his own built-in DAO. But this is very bad for the project! It’s not getting out there like it should be and it is a real shame because it is such an excellent dapp! One of the best the IC currently has to offer in the social media genre other than OpenChat.

You propose to hand over the project to Russophobes and maximally toxic and inadequate people  They ban people for opinions that don’t match their views.

Is this the current state of affairs with the Taggr devs? X and Mechaquan right? Well maybe that explains why they instituted an internal dapp DAO instead of going the SNS route to begin with? Seems pretty obvious right? Like I said, I highly doubt they will get smart and open Taggr up to the public like they should and SNS it.
