Hello everyone, dfx 0.30.1-beta.0 is available for testing. You can read the release notes here.
To switch to the beta release, use dfxvm default 0.30.1-beta.0.
If no bugs show up we plan to cut the full release next week.
Important highlights for this release are improved local development for BTC and enabling dogecoin support.
are both DFX and the icp-cli both planned to be continued and maintained?
Eventually we will stop adding new features to dfx and deprecate it in favor of icp-cli.
We’re not able to do that just yet until icp-cli reaches parity.
I will post about the next target milestone for icp-cli soon. I encourage you to try it out and give us feedback.
