According to a previous post, there doesn’t seem to be people who still call the the protobuf methods. Therefore, the next NNS Governance upgrade proposal will include a change to introduce a 10% random panic to the list_neurons_pb and manage_neuron_pb methods. Hopefully, anyone who still uses those method and did not see the previous post can notice and migrate to the their candid counterparts (presumably easier to use than protobuf method), while the error rate is still low. In the next month, we plan to ramp up the error gradually to 100%, and we will remove those methods if everything goes well.
