Hi ICP friends, the bIPQuantum team has been diligently working to bring our platform’s MVP closer to completion. Here’s a summary of the latest feature developments and the challenges we’re facing:
Core Features in Progress
- Chatbot Integration: This feature is set to enhance the user experience by delivering AI-driven IP insights. We’re implementing a state machine to manage the question/answer flow, facilitating smoother interactions.
- IP Certification: We’re currently resolving a Content Security Policy (CSP) error on the mainnet, with approximately one hour left to finalize this feature.
- Marketplace Tab: To streamline user navigation, we’re adding a dedicated marketplace tab, separate from the wallet tab, for listing and IP transactions.
- Cycles Ops for Canister Ownership: This task is currently blocked pending a principal ID from cyclesops.dev. Managing canister cycles is crucial as we prepare to handle increased activity.
- Custom Domain Setup: We’re configuring a custom domain to align with the bIPQuantum brand, a task requiring collaboration between team members.
Addressing Key Bugs and Enhancements
- Test ICP Usage: Transitioning to test ICPs is underway to secure testing, requiring approximately three hours of work.
- Multi-License Selection: User demand for selecting multiple licenses per IP has prompted this enhancement, slated for completion within four hours.
- Login Issues: Intermittent login issues are being addressed, including repeated login prompts and profile-saving glitches.
- Scroll Fix for IP List: Adjusting the scroll functionality for the IP list to improve the user interface.
- Post-Action User Prompts: We’re adding confirmation steps after user actions to ensure clarity and control over IP management decisions.
- Enhanced Marketplace Listing Options: Refinements include adding a royalty field and a choice between public and private IP listings.
Mobile Optimization and Upcoming Focus
The desktop version is nearing completion, but mobile optimization remains a top priority as the current mobile UI is underperforming. Additionally, we’re refining how IP-related fields are displayed and adding country inputs for a more comprehensive user profile.
Our commitment to resolving these issues demonstrates our dedication to delivering a robust, user-centric platform. While challenges remain, especially around latency and UI feedback from our grant manager, the bIPQuantum team continues to push forward with determination.
Stay tuned for further updates, and thank you to the community for supporting our mission to revolutionize IP management on the blockchain.
