Will it ensure that my legacy II continues to work (i) in combination with a ledger HW wallet (for NNS) and (ii) with OISY?

Yes, though if you’re using the ledger HW wallet as a passkey with II, you’ll need to create a new passkey using another method during the upgrade since the ledger HW wallet does not support discoverable passkeys at this moment.
