Imagine AI agents that do tasks you you. Currently AI agents are used on Caffeine to build apps, not even on chain.
But!
On Rialo they building agents on chain, those will do tasks for you, move funds, even build for you.
Now comes question, does Dominic change and actually want ICP tech to get adoption and does token play any role in that. Without token, there wont be any funding, no funding means developement stops, ecosystem runs on fumes, people leave.
Morale of story, never put all eggs to one basket. ICP did look like clear winning bet, but seems not anymore.
imo if we go ai onchain route, we’ll go back to research mode again
i prefer current mode which is product mode hence the opencloud (cloud engine) and caffeine
tho i would’ve preferred for dfinity to still pursue web3 products for icp community because i feel like we wouldve gladly pay for whatever dfinity will build since we’re fans of their work, not just customers of their products… but their current path of going for govts & institutions is not that bad either
What do you mean by ai agents on chain? We think ICP can do ai on chain but do you mean like for deterministic responses and regulatory replay for example or that the canister can hold weights? We tried both, they work fine up 131k tokens. It’s just an env file config along with some GPU mounted on the nodes.
is anyone calculating the Price Appreciation of Node Machine Hardwares since the AI boom started? are the machines more expensive now due to Memory Shortage?
imo ICP is complementary to AI, providing it with tools and storage and security of a Blockchain..
