What do you guys think about the duration of Staking?
I think 8 years is too long and not being able to terminate mid-staking is dictatorial.
If NNS stacking is not for you, you can maybe try waterneuron stacking.
It has lower APY but you can withdraw at any time a part of your stacking ( with some loss ).
Anyway its always a personal choice, maybe asking people on the internet isnt the best thing to do.

But I have already started NNS stacking. So I can’t try waterneuron 2 stacking. I want to be able to switch.
I think the technical issues of ICP should be widely discussed by everyone. Not just personal choices. That’s what virtual currency is all about.
this is everything BUT an issue. You knew what you were doing when you stacked for 8 years.
What may not be an issue for you is important to me. Are you a dictator? Don’t decide the issue on your own.
Not sure what is not clear with the “make your own decisions” the day you stacked.
Maybe you will learn do live the consequences of your own actions. Never to late for that.
