BASIC LIST of things that if not done (right) immediately will ruin this cycle for ICP.
- Native estable coin
- Adding new coins automatically to a wallet (Just like Phantom in SOLANA). BLOWS my mind that we have to add a CANISTER + INDEX. AND NO COIN HAS AN INDEX! How TF will I make my taxes?
- Integrating OISY with apps. Wallet experience is awful on ICP. When I will be able to connect Oisy on ICPSWAP, KOng, etc.?
- Deprecating account addresses for ICP token. What ANON can understand that we use two kind of addresses???
- Finishing token and NFT standards. YES, 4 years later is more than enough to agree to a standard.
The current architecture of ic is that the token’s ledger is controlled by the token itself, and a token has 1 ledger canister, with the option of having 1 indexed canister.
If there is no index canister, it will not be easy to retrieve the corresponding transaction records of a user under this token.
Unfortunately, indexed canisters are not required, so there are many tokens that do not have such canisters enabled in order to save costs.
And since each token’s transactions are independent of each token’s canister, there is no way to automatically explore any added tokens.
However, in TallyLint, we have built a feature that can help users automatically import the SNS tokens they own by calling the transaction history of each SNS token.
