Hello everyone.
Over the years, DFINITY and Dominic Williams have reportedly accumulated billions of ICP tokens. They gradually sold these tokens on exchanges, which drove the price down to critical lows. Now they don’t want to sell at such low prices, so they allegedly placed organized propagandists on the exchanges — who are also moderators of certain groups — and one of them even blocked me for two months.
These propagandists post messages on exchanges and mislead traders by claiming that the ICP token price will go to the moon. They do this because they don’t want to sell their tokens at current low prices.
The propagandists failed to pump the ICP price because both Node Providers and investors continue to sell tokens on the exchanges.
That’s why they introduced Mission 70, which effectively cut the rewards for Node Providers and investors almost in half. On paper, inflation has slightly decreased, but the ICP token price is not rising because DFINITY and Dominic Williams are reportedly selling around half a million ICP tokens every week.
You cannot raise the token price through speculative posts. DFINITY and Dominic Williams hold billions of tokens, and if they sell too aggressively, the price could drop below $0.2, which would damage their reputation.
So they moved to the second option for reducing inflation — large-scale token burning. First, they promised that Caffeine AI would burn a massive amount of tokens. Then they promised that Cloud Engines would do it. After that, they promised the Pakistan project would burn a huge amount. Then they promised the Swiss Sovereign Subnet would do the same.
Later, when people could no longer see the actual USD value of token burns on the dashboard, that metric was removed and replaced with block production speed.
Autumn is approaching. ICP has developed technologically, but the token price remains near its all-time lows, and speculative actions are not working.
Now, it seems they have decided: “We have already acted unethically many times, so one more time won’t matter.” That’s why they came up with the idea of further reducing rewards for investors and Node Providers — essentially taking away their income.
When the propagandist moderators (whose nicknames include Afro, Monkey, Lorimedi, and others) see this post, they will start posting their usual propaganda comments.
I am taking the initiative.
All investors who want to protect their ICP investments, I recommend joining the Facebook group “ICP Investors”.
Create the group with this exact name, and all investors will be able to find it.
