I would only vote for this if the community has a plan in place for the average person. A link to a separate neuron listing or an extension that auto-populates.

I think your neuron would actually have an advantage without the named neuron system. You have a large twitter/tiktok/youtube following where you could advertise your neuron ID and you wouldnât have to compete with the extra legitimacy that a named neuron provides.

I have a different philosophy. I think everyone should be able to add their neuron to the named neuron. My proposal aims to have my named neuron added and inspire other people and projects to create named neurons. Ideally, that list should be so extensive someone should be making an app telling us who they are.

I think what he said made perfect sense. Technically he does need to ask for votes and his point was why should he need to do that. Daniel has advocated for a public index of neurons for a long time.
