@Lorimer sure, makes sense. It’s just a coincidence, the 23 in my username refers to the launch year

Hi everyone,

We can confirm the information from Fractal Labs.

Please find the necessary information regarding the nodes that we will be taking over from: Fractal Labs

  1. Statement and Self-Declaration Link: Node machine handover statement User: Block23Finance
  2. Node Count: 14 under the new remuneration structure
  3. Data Centers: mb1
  4. Onboarding Start Date: March 1, 2025
  5. Contact Information - Element/Matrix alias: You're invited to talk on Matrix

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Best,
BlockFinance

The launch of BlockFinance?

@Lorimer yes, that’s correct

No, I will not list them. Much of the world has very strict laws against sharing other people’s information without their consent.

Proposal #135317 — Louise | Aviate Labs

Vote: ADOPT
Review
This proposal registers a new NP NODAO.

  • :white_check_mark: Forum Introduction
  • :white_check_mark: Self-Declaration, Proof of Identity and Signed Node Handover documents are on the wiki, and a link is provided in the list of self declarations.
  • :white_check_mark: Hashes mentioned in the proposal match what is on the wiki and what I have computed locally. The same is true for the node handover statements, which are not part of the proposal (and is not a requirement), but is on the self declaration page of NODAO.
  • :white_check_mark: NODAO entity is registered in the Belgium registry of businesses and enterprises
About Aviate Labs

Aviate Labs is a team dedicated to supporting node providers since 2020. Our mission is to make high-performance infrastructure management on the Internet Computer (ICP) as seamless as possible, while adhering to the principles of decentralization.

We are known for our contributions to the ecosystem, including the go-agent and developer work packages on GitHub, as well as the Node Monitor tool, which alerts Node Providers as soon as any of their nodes go down.

In the NNS, our team—Roald, Louise, and Quint—reviews and votes independently on ‘Node Admin’ and ‘Participant Management’ proposals. Currently we don’t vote at all on other proposals.

The Aviate Labs known neuron is configured to follow our team for these topics and other trusted entities for broader proposals. We strive to be a credible and reliable Followee, committed to voting on every proposal and supporting decentralization within the ICP ecosystem.

This is a strange answer. It’s public information  (there’s even a search bar :upside_down_face:)

Cool, can I ask which of these websites is for your BlockFinance (or is it both)?

Proposal 135324 | Tim - CodeGov

Vote: Adopt

This proposal sets rewardable_nodes for node operator sqxhb to 28. As seen in the dashboard for the relevant node provider, Reist Telecom AG, there are 28 nodes registered for this node operator ID. The proposal is in keeping with the steps outlined earlier in this thread for onboarding of excess Gen1 node machines that are handed over to another node provider.

About CodeGov

CodeGov has a team of developers who review and vote independently on the following proposal topics: IC-OS Version Election, Protocol Canister Management, Subnet Management, Node Admin, and Participant Management. The CodeGov NNS known neuron is configured to follow our reviewers on these technical topics. We also have a group of Followees who vote independently on the Governance and the SNS & Neurons’ Fund topics. We strive to be a credible and reliable Followee option that votes on every proposal and every proposal topic in the NNS. We also support decentralisation of SNS projects such as WaterNeuron, KongSwap, and Alice with a known neuron and credible Followees.

Proposal 135334 | Tim - CodeGov

Vote: Adopt

This proposal adds a new node operator ID for node provider DeNoDe. The node provider ID and data centre ID given in the proposal match the information in the node provider record in the dashboard. The addition of the new node operator ID is consistent with the processes outlined for reconfiguring existing Gen-1 nodes under the new remuneration structure. This NP does not currently have any registered nodes, but will have 14 once the nodes owned by Allusion in data centre AN1 are handed over, consistent with the agreed maximum of 42 and the statement of intent here.

This is a strange claim. If there is a search bar, then why don’t you perform your own search for this public information? If you tried and were not able to find the results, then perhaps it’s no so public. If you try and are successful, then I guess you didn’t need @katiep to do this work for you in the first place.

I thought I made it clear why I was asking -

You clearly said that the information that Katie cannot provide for legal reasons is public. So go for it…do the research, list all 52 names that contain the number 23, and point out what people are missing. I’m on pins and needles waiting for you to drop the knowledge.

Proposal #135307 Review — Louise | Aviate Labs

Vote: REJECT
Review:

This proposal sets rewards for adds 14 nodes to the MB1 data center for the new Node Provider BlockFinance

Though it is not stated in the proposal, the signed handover statement on the wiki shows that these are excess nodes that were previously operated by the Node Provider Fractal Labs AG.

That being said, just as @timk11 pointed out, the proposal text should contain these details as that text serves as the source of truth for future reference. And given that many of these types of proposals have been submitted in the past month, this proposal does not meet the same standard as those that have been adopted. For these reasons, I will vote to reject.

@Block23Finance , I would advise submitting another proposal. Please see this proposal that was submitted recently. I think it is a good example.

DFINITY Foundation rejected 135307, following the consensus in the community regarding the proposal. The proposal was unclear, contained irrelevant information, and some documentation (such as the machine handover statement) was missing initially (this was rectified later).

We welcome another proposal from BlockFinance with a clear statement and relevant information. We would also welcome the hash of the handover statement in the proposal itself.
