Hello everyone,
I’m excited to introduce RunePortal, a platform designed to make launching and managing tokens simple and intuitive by leveraging the power of the Internet Computer and Bitcoin integration. RunePortal focuses on providing creators and participants with seamless tools to launch, trade, and interact with Runes.
Current Status
I’ve completed the MVP of RunePortal, which allows:
- Token Launch Creation: Creators can easily set up and manage their token launches.
- Token Contributions: Participants can buy tokens and track their contributions.
- Balance Tracking: Users can see their holdings and participation history.
The MVP is ready and awaiting Bitcoin’s Testnet4 support for the Ord-canister, which is confirmed to be in progress. Once this is available, RunePortal will go live for test users.
Roadmap
Phase 1: Enhancing Launch Features
Add new capabilities to improve the user experience, including:
- Setting minimum and maximum contribution limits for token launches.
- Allowing creators to allocate tokens to themselves during the launch.
- Introducing airdrop functionality for targeted token distribution.
- Enabling open minting of Runes, including those not created on RunePortal.
- Upgrading the system with HTTP serving to efficiently handle larger datasets.
Phase 2: New Launch Formats and Multi-Token Support
Expand RunePortal’s functionality by introducing:
- Initial DEX Offerings (IDO) as a new launch format.
- Support for creating wrapped ICRC-1 tokens.
- Multi-token payment options, allowing users to participate in launches with ICP, CkBTC, and more.
Phase 3: Marketplace and Mainnet Deployment
Finally, focus on:
- Building a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can trade Runes, including those created outside RunePortal.
- Deploying RunePortal on the IC Mainnet with transactions fully integrated into Bitcoin Mainnet.
