Internet Identity 2.0 seems unresponsive on caffeine

I am experiencing a freeze in id.ai when trying to login to caffeine.
The UI gets freezed and does not throw the passkey sign in function to me.
Please help.

I’m able to log in on id.ai using both passkeys and Google.

Have you tried refreshing the page?
What browser are you using?

Yep tried refreshing the page but no luck.

I am using Brave Browser [Latest] on Windows 11

Let me do a performance trace on my end and see if there’s anything that stands out, sometimes these sort of issues only appear on older platforms.

Does it happen if you go directly to https://id.ai/ directly? Can you log in there?

Yep the issue is there too sadly :downcast_face_with_sweat:
The interface just freezes and I still can’t login there

ok, sorry to hear that.

Could you do the following things to help me debug the problem:

  • Can you send me a video on a DM in the forum showing the flow from Caffeine, to the frozen page in II?
  • Can you try with another browser? Maybe Edge and Chrome?
  • Did you try to create a new identity in https://id.ai/?
  • Can you register a user in https://www.webauthn.me/ ?

So today, when I was trying to login to Caffeine for recording purpose it surprisingly worked and let me sign in.
I did upgrade my Brave browser, which I think solved this issue.
