Current problem, CaffeineAI app store will be used credits only, creators dont earn living.
New App store could look like this:
Platform where known/proven builders can sell II 2.0 accounts with what they built fully working apps. Platform can itself take cut 10%. Registrated email can use Dmail account or any burner.
This way builders get paid for work they do, they will start promoting ICP themselves. If builders manage to get well working prompt tree, they can use it to replicate its work and keep selling.
It’s one thing to clone an application’s code, it’s entirely another thing to sell a live app with users, data, and potentially even revenue streams.
My understanding is that caffeine is uniquely positioned in a few respects.
One is web3 obviously meaning built in identity & wallets.
The other superpower is the ability to sell live apps. Apparently web2 makes this extremely difficult given the architecture. With caffeine you could sell a live app as if it were an nft no problem. Just transfer control of the canister.
Cloning an apps code is cool but it can be copied by web2. Creating a marketplace of live apps. Now that is truly cool.
