Isn’t this like an exact copy of ICPAY ?

Congratulations for the launch, Good idea to go multi-language from day 1.

The gateway is functional and easy to start.

Will be great to add ICP-tokens from active community like $FUNNAI $BOB $GLDT (Gold-token).

Fair question, sir! Looks similar on the surface, but:

  • We’re 100% on-chain — they’re not
  • We’re non-custodial — they’re custodial by default
  • We’re open source — they’re a commercial company, and their core backend is closed.
  • We’re a Rust canister on ICP — they’re a traditional SaaS with SDK on top

Different architecture, and different philosophy.

Thank you for the support!

Done! $FUNNAI, $BOB and $GLDT are now live on FusionPay. We listen to the community.

The plan is to add all existing ICRC tokens on ICP, and cross-chain support is coming next :rocket:

I see. Thanks for the clarification.

Well I hope all of the payment solutions building on ICP do well.

Looks solid so far. Impressive. Nice work.

Payments is a good category. We need to be the chain of practical every day utility unlike others and why not leverage chain fusion to the max and everything else ICP has to offer in this regard?

BTW, I commend you for promoting ICP at the very top and with the logo and not hiding the fact like many projects are doing as if they are embarrassed to have built their product here which is truly pathetic.

Thanks, appreciate it :handshake:

Just wanted to ask:

  1. What is your domain name going to be and have you already acquired it?

  2. When do you plan to have Shopify integration completed or other shopping carts or WordPress?

  3. The affiliate program is a very good idea but how else do you plan to promote this? Will you actually be advertising anywhere or is word of mouth and the affiliate program the plan?

  4. Have you already raised capital or are you planning to via ICVC or SNS DAO in the future?

Fantastic! That when very fast Lol… You can count on those communities

no thanks we have icpay

Error while trying to send ICRC-1 token (i.e FUNNAI). Can’t send to Account ID. It will be better to display Principal ID.

Talk about trying to kill new projects. Kraken must be happy with the work you’ve put in.

yes i say coinbase you say kraken, I say paedo you say tomato

It’s funny to watch you actually do all the things you accuse others of doing.

The key difference is we have on chain evidence of you doing this while you have conspiracies.

Is there a link to try it out?

Not really a copy. It’s very easy to start and 100% onchain. Very few project a ready to go from day 1. It helps merchand understand easily.

This is a shallow copy of ICPay. Just for comparison of what ICPay has and Fusion does not:

  1. Multichain - ICPay also allows payment in different EVM blockchains and Solana, they have solidity smart contract deployed on EVMs and rust program deployed on Solana
  2. ICPay has its own SDK and different widgets that you can customize
  3. it has a demo site where you can configure the widget and deploy it onto your site, it generates code for next.js, vue, angular and static HTML so you can just copy paste it into your project
  4. it has published plugin for wordpress on wordpress marketplace so you can install it without adding any code
  5. it has woocommerce plugin so you can install it on your woocommerce webshop without any code, just as a payment plugin (like paypal)
  6. it has extensive documentation
  7. it has SKILL file for AI agents so it can automate development and interaction with ICPay api
  8. it has relay payments option for payments so the payments can be set as non-custodial by default
  9. it has webhooks, so you can subscribe on each different event and with multiple endpoints
  10. it supports x402 payments
  11. it has QR code and wallet connect payments for mobile device payments
  12. it can be integrated onto the client site or added as a payment link directly from icpay website
  13. it has a sandbox server that you can try your integration with test tokens and on testnets
  14. its multicurrency, so you can set a price in EUR if you want to and it will calculate a price in ICP or USDC and the client can pay with any token he wants to, it is not fixed to one token or one currency
  15. it shows you available tokens with the balance for the connected wallet on each different blockchain
  16. it has different mini apps like pos . icpay . org that you can use for your POS devices

I dont see anything that FusionPay has and ICPay doesnt have except Affiliate program, and I see a lot of things that ICPay has and FusionPay doesnt.
It’s a 10% copy paste of the ICPay project, they even kept 0.5% fee on each payment like ICPay has lol.

Both projects are great and both have great potential to serve different type of merchands.

I can just say that FusionPay is in grade 1 and ICPay is in grade 6.

Hey that’s quite the writeup and that’s what I thought. Are you on the ICPAY dev team or the other dev other than Tom?

What is ICPAY’s strategy to gain marketshare ? How is it being marketed, if at all?
