Work worth doing. Irony is though that this might have been a heck of a lot easier to do if you hadn’t removed them from the dashboard…
Even so, let’s assume you are right, then they would have onboarded their “new” nodes under different principals basically starting from zero. Now while these people would actually then have done sth wrong by circumventing the handover rules of Gen1 nodes that Dfinity stipulated, they would likely operate from the basis of wanting to cover their tracks, which is of course easily done if you are operating on that basis and thinking about what kind of onchain tracks you are leaving. Which brings me back to..the easiest things to find are the ones not mean to be hidden…if you can see it, it’s not really hidden.
