Can you shine more light on who the recipients of the other developer neurons are and what relationship Cosmicrafts has with them?
Yes, we have 4 recipients on the developer neurons.
2 VCs that participated in the seed round:
Anmi Capital - https://anmicapital.com/
2Link - 2Link Buidl Portfolio | CryptoRank.io
Both VCs contributed to various projects in the Ecosystem.
Genesis includes all other stakeholders who have contributed to Cosmicrafts over the years:
-
Genesis NFT holders Entrepot - Cosmicrafts (NFTs not visible, canister won’t accept cycles; I’ll create another topic for this)
-
Airdrop NFT holders Anvil
-
Cosmic Tacos NFT holders Entrepot - Cosmic Tacos
-
Advisors, KOLs, and Ambassadors
-
Previous Dev & Art Team (2021-2022)
-
Pre-Launch promotion (Airdrops)
These are separate entities, plus the Team single neuron.
I scrolled on your X and DSCVR and all i see is eye candy templates and 1 real time play video that is on your youtube channel from 2023.
Do you have a finished product or not?
You doing an SNS because you need more funding?
Thank you for your feedback! I like the eye-candy templates too.
We do have quite a few gameplay videos on X, so I’m not sure why you mentioned seeing only one real-time video on our YouTube channel.
The product is ready to go to market, we launch new versions of the game two or three times a year. With every year getting better and better with new features.
If you’re really interested in knowing more about Cosmicrafts I invite you to scroll through our X account and read our Whitepaper.
As a wise man once told me, “A founder should always be fundraising.”
I would advise you to not launch now. When there is a tie on important NNS topics, everyone will be holding on to their ICP and not investing in anything.
Advise taken Blacksmith,
No rush, this can wait until this NNS situation settles down, for good.
I noticed your repo includes a frontend canister that’s not listed in the SNS YAML file for decentralization. While it resembles your website, it doesn’t appear to be the actual site (there is no “Marketplace” on your website, but there is one in the canister from the repo).
Is this just a development repo, or a previous iteration of the website, or just something you plan to deprecate? In other words, is it related in any way to the decentralization proposal?
Yeah, almost exactly what I got.
Hey David,
That is correct, the frontend canister is still in development, the Marketplace has been halted/deprecated in favor of the upcoming NFT creator marketplace and it’s just really too much for me to take care of, I have enough with the video game and backend dev on my own.
I was also surprised when I found that out myself, even if you build the game from a legit Unity license, you still need to pay an additional yearly license to not be considered malware by Apple or Microsoft, which is why we paid the license on Epic Games and the game will be distributed through its store.
That makes sense, thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for sharing, that’s good information.
Very cool to see any major development launching on ICP esp. a gaming MMO. Great work and we need a working game here since Dragginz is still delayed for who knows how long!
As for the sale, I’m disappointed that the minimum participation is set to 100 ICP for the community.
Why not let everyone participate even for a single ICP? Why force 100 minimum? Why not get more people invested in the project?
Does the game work on the web? it just says Game Loading in Spanish
Good question. I’m getting the same result in all browsers. Probably a good idea to make sure everything is operational even if alpha PRIOR to submitting your SNS launch request!
cargando juego
Not working for me…
Maybe this one needs to go back into the oven
My bad, and yeah this one is undercooked but it’s working now
It’s a Space shooter prototype from October 2024
The classic RTS still needs work to be ported on WebGL+Multiplayer, I estimate 3-4 months to get it ready and it’s on the Roadmap for Q3 2025.
It would be nice to have some funding to get a developer to help me and some marketing budget, not much really just enough to start testing targeted ads after launching on CrazyGames and Epic Games.
I’ve been thinking the same for the past year, why launch a DAO when the games aren’t fully operational on Web.
So here’s my reasoning for that:
The classic RTS works great on PC, fully-on chain with NFTs, Missions and all that stuff I’ve been bragging about nonstop, the problem is like @stdevelopr mentioned, nobody is going to bypass their OS warning of malware, which is why we should launch on Epic Games, I’d like Steam but crypto is banned for now.
I’ve spent the last 10 months working on multiplayer prototypes for WebGL (like the one on the website), because let’s face it… what if the classic RTS fails on all platforms, which is very likely without any user feedback.
So the solution I came up with is, learn how to make Web Multiplayer games FAST (Vibecoding, AI Art), so even if we fail with this one, we can continue producing more quality games that can compete in this crazy market.
I’m not a top developer like the guys you see out there, but everything you see on Cosmicrafts I did it myself.
