I have multiple challenges that I can’t seem to overcome and that prevent me from creating basic functionality. Would like support/ guidance/ timelines to be able to progress and discuss in open forum in general.

  1. Ledger functionality. I find this limitation to be even somewhat irritating (sorry :)), as this is the standard thing to do on crypto. I’m excitedly building an NFT minting site and I can’t send/ receive ICP nor NFT. So it’s a hard blocker. I feel customized minting and sales experience is doable and a great use case for Caffeine. And suitable also for app store templates. Could clone a working and verified site and customize for your own NFT collection. Expand that to multi chain and we have the perfect mass market NFT management experience…. When could we expect ledger support to transact tokens and NFTs. I would very much want to launch my NFT collection on a custom-built Caffeine web page, to “prove a point”.
  2. I also encounter difficulties due to internal templates. I have been hit with this three times at least.
    1. With file storage, there is no way to customize the design (like change URLs, or chooce what variables and methods to create). It caused problems and confusion (and I wasn’t able to customize authentication) but I was able to work with the forced template for now.
    2. With authentication, Caffeine added multi user authentication system that made all the users pending automatically. I couldn’t change the behaviour in multiple ways. Couldn’t remove the code, couldn’t make all users registrered. Basically, my project is stuck with un-wanted behaviour that I cannot alter. The problem is enforcing templates and not being able to alter them. (the only way would be to start the project from scratch using different design BUT it is possible that at any time, the system makes a slight refactoring to add it back and again be stuck)
    3. With a document editor, my strategy and recommendation from Caffeine was to use Slate framework, for presenting and storing formats (so I can later search and analyse the data). And however I prompt it, it still ends up not doing what is prompted and choosing another framework (quill). It even happened when I started from scratch, was able to use Slate, but then one slight modification turned out to refactor it to use quill. And Caffeine endlessly agrees and understands and recommends Slate and then implements it but the result is still using quill. I don’t think the underlying LLM dev is that limited but some templates by Caffeine?
  3. When could we use and build more custom solutions for common problems? Like unzipping files on backend - not possible because Motoko doesn’t have this functionality. Motoko or configurations seem to be a bottleneck for developing with Caffeine. Is it possible to embed Rust snippets or smth? Or will Motoko team implement the necessary functionality with AI or smth :slight_smile:
  4. I have also reached a state where I can’t chat with Caffeine in the main window. Everything fails the security. Please remove my restriction.

I keep getting the message “ LLM API error8m ago :cross_mark: Unable to create your app8m a” since 3 days ago after trying to improve the app. It does nothing but showing this every time.

Please can somebody from Dfinity engage on this? I only post here because I have received no response using the official caffeine channel.

Same for me! Everything was going well, I had a blast :slight_smile: until I tried adding this feature, everything blew up with LLM API error. I have written to support but no news for 2 weeks.

I still haven’t got any response for any of the inquiries. For some problems, like ledger functionality, I understand this will be further down the road. But I still can’t talk to the Caffeine master chat. Whatever I say, it gives "Your prompt does not pass the security guard.“ It’s been like this for a month.
