OK, that probably does explain it. This is new information to me. I stand corrected and will edit my comments.
I woke up and saw a bunch of bullsh!t accusations thrown at me by the same bad actors (@ysyms) as well as @borovan. Regardless, are you aware that @borovan himself provided the roadmap for this attack? He has executed every single step necessary including changing SNS parameters (see OP), trying to mint himself a billion tokens to send to his own wallet (see OP), and taking a critical majority of another SNS and transferring the ICP tokens in the treasury to his own wallet (see TRAX). Where was your sense of outrage during all of that? You were certainly part of the discussions and saw it happening? At what point did you call @borovan out for the unethical behaviors that he has shown? When are you going to hold him to the higher standard that should be expected from someone of his wealth, power, and influence? Donât come at me when you canât even admit in no uncertain terms that @borovan is the unnecessary aggressor on so many fronts and has propagated the PSYOP tactics that have empowered so many bad actors. Drain the swamp is a failed mission started by @borovan. Even if he had good intentions, his tactics have been poorly executed and have lead to an erosion of ICP credibility.
@WebTreeSoftwareSolut provided the information that likely explains this attack. My apologies. I will update my post to remove any sense of implications against @borovan. I would appreciate if you will ask @borovan, @ysyms, and several of the other people who have made false accusations against me to do the same. This is out of control and the blame needs to fall on the people who actually took these actions.
I fully agree and will support this effort.
Your @wpb accusations against others are totally unfounded. On the contrary, the people you support have more motivation and opportunities to do such things. I am now beginning to doubt whether Alice, codeglv, and wtn, which you manage, have related problems.
Wenzel doesnât control wtn.
Ok Stop right there!
Everything Adam has done has built value for the token and the token holders. Every DAO token he has purchased himself, just as anyone else could do.
The minting a billion tokens was to get control and then he was going to burn them once everything was stable. It was just to stop the constant back and forth. Of course, I am sure you will say there is no proof he would have burnt them. By the same token, there is no proof he wouldnât.
There is however a track history of Adam and I being fair and giving the community rewards for their efforts. Take Dragginz for example, which I believe was mentioned earlier. When we minted the extra tokens, it was because we simply needed more for a large scale game to function without getting into silly fractions. Nobody lost anything there. Every holder got the same % holdings they had before just multiplied correctly.
Sorry buddy you cant weasel words your way out of this one.
Ill let J. Cole take it from here:
Fool me one time shame on you.
Fool me twice, canât put the blame on you.
Fool me three times **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.
Let me ask you this.
When Adam blamed wenzel for voting to reject the Swiss subnet did you believe him.
Or even this. After I showed Adam was the one to vote for it to be rejected did you feel fooled by his narrative?
Double standard is not a good thing to have here.
Oh my goodness. This is absolutely ridiculous. Why canât people take personal responsibility when they do something wrong? There is a right way of doing things and there is a clearly wrong way of doing things. I hope that @WebTreeSoftwareSolut, @Thyassa, and @borovan will step over to the right side of history on this one. Itâs very simple. Admit mistakes, work together for the common good, and remain civilized. We donât have to agree all the time, but we should at least respect each other.
I give people respect out of politeness.
But respect is ultimately earned.
And currently there is a mountain of evidence that suggests to me that you have been manipulative.
You manipulated me into actually giving you the benefit of the doubt.
I cant forgive that, nor can I respect someone who acts this way.
Alright @wpb , if weâre talking about respect, maybe start by apologizing, to me, to @borovan , and to @ysyms
Weird stance.
Someone made a mistake due to information being missing. That person publicly admitted fault and corrects the outpost when the new info is posted.
Your response is you manipulated me?
You may have good intentions and think you are doing the right thing, but you didnât refute any of my comments because they are all true. There are two sides to the story and not everyone thinks these actions are your best work. I want you and @borovan to be successful leaders of the ICP community, but I want you to do it in the right way. The goal is not to make your degen Discord community happy. The goal is to build the world computer and to onboard people, businesses, and governments who are not even in the crypto space today. You need to think bigger and take actions that are more respectable and understandable to a broader community.
Careful wenzel, your disdain for average, everyday people is showingâŚ
You know, the ones who are required as consumers to make any business model successful.
I think you forgot the part where
So the story goes like this
BOOM SNS LAUNCH â Run off with 350,000 ICP from 400k SNS treasury of Sale â
then abandon project â Adam Comes and renews BOOM DAO and gave MIMIC framework and was repurposing â
BOOM CABAL came and manipulated SNS and voting parameters, co-ordinated and voted with their initial developer neurons to Mint 25% of extra total supply 250M tokens, dumped it on ICP Swap and Bolted
Adam I think those guys like your liquids.
So what i am getting from this is basically, Adam changed the parameters allowing someone to gain control of the DAO by increasing their disolve delay by 80+ year , minted a bunch of token, and sold them on the market. Why isnât Adam being blamed? How is this about @wpb? Why not just take responsibility for the error?
Not quite they made a new one with a tiny number of tokens and set the dissolve delay to 83 years.
For some strange reason Adam and his followers like to bully wenzel.
Yes lets blame him for investing his money, building something, just to get it stolen.
Thank you @Sormarler @Mico , you guys are right, we should totally ignore the perpetrators of the scam and ignore how they minted 25% of the supply and dumped it on ICPSwap
Sure, the perpetrator is ultimately wrong, but we have no clue who he is., but what is clear is that Adam created the opportunity for somebody to manipulate the supply and take advantage of it. He is at least partly to blame for that. So instead of acknowledging this, you are blaming @wpb which is strange.
