I am curious what is a use case that requires the expected_allowance field? Can someone provide an example?

It allows the caller to change the allowance conditionally using compare-and-swap. We think it’s good to have the option to set it because the allowance may change in between it’s displayed to the user and the user tries to change it.
Any information when ICRC-2 will go for NNS vote?
We are preparing the proposal right now.

Hi everyone,
The motion proposal 122613 for the ICRC-2 Fungible Token Standard is live and being voted right now!
Keep in mind that the summary is missing the API part because of an escaping mistake. We should proceed with voting as what is missing is just a copy of what is available in the standard repository.
