The sale will last for one week, running from Dec 6th, 20:00 CET to Dec 13th, 20:00 CET, 2024.
After the sale, the WTN token distribution will occur over 9 weeks, constrained by the SNS treasury’s weekly withdrawal limits.
The WTN / ICP exchange rate is determined as follows:
Participants can deposit ICP at any time during the sale week.
At the end of the week, no further deposits are accepted.
Each participant’s share of WTN tokens is calculated as: Share = (ICP deposited by the participant) / (Total ICP deposited).
Participants can claim their proportional WTN allocation during the weekly distribution periods.
Does hitting the weekly cap influence the next week’s exchange rate?
No, because the sale only lasts for one week. The cap only affects how much WTN can be withdrawn from the treasury during the 9-week distribution period, not the sale dynamics.

It’ll be really interesting to see how other SNS’s react to this opportunity. I think there are two SNS’s in particular that have made master chess moves with WaterNeuron so far.
ICVC-@Isaac_ICVC (the SNS with the largest treasury) continuing to convert massive portions of it to nICP to protect against ICP inflation (16, 17, 20, 21, 23). They’re also going to scoop up a handsome amount of WTN during the future airdrop as a result.
I’m curious to see whether YRAL-@saikatdas0790 (the SNS with the second largest treasury) will take advantage of this sale, or @KongSwap, the latest DEX, or Neutrinite-@infu with their super fancy defi vectors. I guess we’ll find out over the coming week / weekend!
Just follow the instructions on the launchpad. First you register your WTN NNS principal (check the address for holding WTN in your NNS wallet). Then you transfer ICP to the principal provided on the launchpad (displayed when you registered your WTN NNS principal).
The WTN will be distributed to your NNS account after the swap (according to the schedule described above).
Congratulations to the WTN SNS community. The SNS#2 decentralization swap was a resounding success. This is a big win for decentralization of both WTN and the NNS.
After I inquired, I learned that just transferring the ICP to the SNS sales address is not complete, and I need to manually submit the confirmation. When can an ICP that has not successfully participated in the SNS be returned？
