Oh and new article published: How Not to Break your app
new tutorial published:
Update 15 Nov:
It’s been a month since there was serious updates to vibrew. Not because I gave up, but because caffeine was blocking all my prompt from the security gaurd. But it seems that issue has been addressed.
Unfortunately it appears that removing that bug may have came at the cost of reducing the context history caffeine remembers which resulted in me breaking the site trying to update it. And not having the option to revert:
This resulted in me talking to an AI, as if it were HUMAN, LIKE A CERTIFIED CRAZY PERSON. ![]()
I was at the limits of my frustration, when a miracle happened.
What came out of that prompt… was not only a working product… but BETTER than what I had before I had started. I have no idea why it was like hitting a winner on a slot machine.
That is the current user experience of caffeine, it’s like a slot machine. If you have a working product already, it feels like playing Russian roulette.
Anyways, now that me and caffeine are buddies again we’re extra careful with updates:
Anyways, that ability for the admin to edit articles finally allowed me to update my custom domains article, one of the most popular. (and probably the question I see most often across multiple platforms).
This Article is now up to date with most current information: Custom Domain Registration
I may have completely lost my sanity, but I still have faith in this product.
I hope sharing my experience will allow some other users who experienced similar frustrations to not give up yet, and roll the dice a few more times.
Enjoy The Vibe!
ha!
I find this one really funny. I used a lot of James Allen’s tutorials when I was first learning to make stuff on ICP.
It’s too bad the way things turned out, I feel like he got the short end of the stick. He did a lot of work for the protocol. Some people forgot that… but I didn’t. ![]()
Thank you to user Hannes for submitting article PWA Apps!
On a related note would be nice if you also had " a favicon " set for ViBrew. Not really an issue and disregard if it could just fuck up the app. ![]()
Some minor updates.
Improved pagination, caching. Optimized article card loading so it’s not nearly as slow as it used to be.
Oh, and I added a favicon.
You wouldn’t think uploading a single image and adding one meta tag would have been the hard part… but somehow it was. ![]()
Rightfully so, that is how this whole thing came to be. Figure out to do something, then write about it.
This article should allow anyone to get it right in one shot and not go in the circles that I did.
Ughhh theres a bug. Theres actuallt several bug but this one is bad.
I added functionality to feature articles. But when i featured user hannes article, to my horror it changed the author to me!
This was not intended behavior working to rectify @Hannesd4
Edit: fixed
Make sure you all checkout hannes article, the very first featured on vibrew!
Thanks mate :). You made a great dapp, keep marketing it
Is this going through tho? Would love some help hha

The template avoidance hack is what made a caffeine ai icrc1 wallet possible.
New article published:
Web 3 Console
Let’s start moving some magic internet monies folks.
Confirmed it works. This changes everything… congrats. Here is my 1 prompt wallet: https://wallettest-6zb.caffeine.xyz/
Yah note you dont need to keep it as a console. You can easily change it to a more user friendly gui after. Its because its EASIER for caffeine to get console interfaces correct which raises the probability of success.
Once you have proper interaction with the ledger its trivial to change the ui.
Stay tuned supporting Additional icrc1 tokens ckBTC ckETH etc is next!
When they actually support app templates ill definitly template the one i have that supports any icrc1 token in a gui.
