The Battle of the BOOM

This is why. As we move towards the new standards of transparency there are very few people asking adam and donna to be transparent with the funds being taken from treasuries.

If they want to answer great, if they don’t want to answer thats fine too. Asking them a question should not come with personal attacks from his community.

Yes, I could have been better with my approach with questioning them

What funds taken? Trax are getting it back it was a loan. The Boom DAO was just me stealing the money back that they took from me in extremely bad faith.

What else is there?

Thank you for answering. While I don’t agree with everything I appreciate the answer and transparency.

so you found a bug.
how much was the dfinity hackerton bounty to find this exploid and helped them to make my investment safer?

It’s not really a bug, it’s a chink in the armor of the government design of the SNS (a design flaw). Everything is working as intended, just it takes someone incredibly clever to expose such flaws in the system.

I know what you mean though.

Dfinity is coming up with solutions. They are fixing it. This sort of thing had to happen to bring it into the spotlight.

Its 2025. Not really new. People been talking about the design flaw of mutable code linked to governance. Even DeFi smart contracts have the same flaw. We gonna wait til DEX reaches TVL for someone to take advantage of that flaw, too?
