Update: PocketIC Python version 3.0 has been released! 
It now supports the latest and greatest PocketIC server in version 7.0, which was released last week. Note that it does not support all the latest features that the server offers (e.g., HTTP outcalls, Bitcoin or auto progress mode).
We do not have immediate plans to add these features to PocketIC Python, but we are more than happy for external contributions!
