Can XRC provide quotes for US stocks, such as AAPL, or gold?
If so, what is the format of the request?
XRC has only one interface: get_exchange_rate. Can I see what trading assets XRC supports?
The XRC gets its data from multiple exchanges. Simply put, you can get exchange rates for any asset that is traded on at least some of these exchanges.
Additionally, it supports fiat currencies (both cryptocurrency-fiat and fiat-fiat pairs).
To answer your first question, stocks are currently not supported.
