We have finished integrating Ton and XRP native dex. Slated next week Camp, EGLD and Stellar. 2 more DEXes coming next week in addition to Solana two way locker contracts. Big week ahead.
Integrating Ton led to us finishing up a BOC lib in Motoko, once reviewed it will be open sourced for community benefit.
We did something pretty cool, we went pro bono to help the cloak coin community some of whom are ICP community. The project did not have a commit for the last 5 years, but active community, very cool engineering as a privacy solution. It got high market caps in 2017 period but was delisted due the privacy issues with CEX. We studied the code base thoroughly and integrated web wallets non privacy enabling. We also upgraded the existing wallet infrastructure to enable ICP frontends mounted on SEV VPS allowing privacy use. Not only that we are turning the canister into a liquidity pool with other assets and effectively created a dex for their community. We absolutely loved how active, perseverant and supportive their community was, we think they will be a great addition to the ICP community effectively this is a marriage we think of it
This week we are delivering XRP,Near,ADA and Sui DEX integrations.
We are also delivering something very cool and experimental it was meant to be delivered in May, but thanks to wonderful technical advise from @timo we are going to be able to deliver cross chain DCA-stop loss(this will be a world first btw, this level of trust and on chain execution never been done before). This is rolling out for Eth and Solana so far, but rest will follow. This will be followed by liquidity strategies so you can have an agent scanning for you the best opportunities.
Hi everyone, Anorak here, former core/wallet developer with CloakCoin.
Just thought I’d drop by, say hello & introduce myself…
I’m excited to see CloakCoin getting a bit of a new life with Menese Protocol integrations!
Potential of adding a privacy/anonymity layer to swaps is huge, utilizing CloakCoin’s Enigma engine as an intermediary would give it a bigger purpose, rather than just being a standalone L1.
If anyone has technical or non-technical questions about CloakCoin, I’ll be more than happy to answer them, I just don’t want to hijack the thread here.
Looking forward to see what Menese Protocol does next & to explore the ICP ecosystem better myself.
Thank you so much for jumping in, the engineering work on cloak is amazing, our community member when he first approached with this mentioned it was a classic car, it truly was. I think the community here would benefit a lot from your feedback on cloak as we go by so please feel free to update us or post anything relevant to the chain. We are leaving this topic as a cross chain collab which is the thesis of Menese. An updated version of Menese with the last two weeks’ work will be available over the weekend. Next week we will be focusing on optimizations, latency and adding the ability to add it on Home Screen for easier mobile access.
Hey everyone, we are releasing automation modules on Monday along with another experimental breakthrough. We just integrated with Circlr routers so Motoko from the backend is able to communicate with Circle’s infrastructure so you don’t have to think about where you USDC is when buying anything in any ecosystem. Solana was by the toughest routing to crack, but the rest of integrated chains will also get their routers by mid February.
There is a lot of interest from Cloak community, a 1000 people on TG and we have pushed plans to deliver them their only DEX hosted in Menese. What does everyone think if we bring them over they can make their DAO here and control that DEX canister, we don’t want to centralize their infrastructure and this will be the only dex for them. Also the structure we are making for them would allow their privacy tech to be used on top of every other chain through ICP, think if you want to anonymously send 6 USDC as payment, they can go through cloak pools and come out in different ecosystems say 6 USDC paid in Solana for example. Bear in mind cloak has had a denoted community since it was launched in 2014, so they are all privacy-crypto veterans
Menese is becoming systemically important to the future of IC /
Some of the main complaints users had with LendFinity were the manual bridging process and the need to use multiple wallets.
With Menese, users don’t need to know which blockchain apps like LendFinity is running on. Bridging happens automatically in the background, and a single Menese wallet is all that’s needed.
When will our applications be able to integrate Menese as alternative to Plug, Metamask and Internet Identity?
Thank you for this, we did design this in mind to work as an engine. The interface is ready and can be plugged into any frontend giving users all the features needed including automated actions and automated strategies. But we are very careful in releasing it; it’s a huge code base with a lot of custom made encoders-decoders and a lot of RPC points for those chains native tokens but also their ecosystem tokens. We are right now hardening the code base, different subscriptions to multiple services providers, unit tests, stress tests, next week we have a very experienced Motoko developer that would also look at the code base(someone from outside the working group thanks to Timo and his team) plus a security team who is also studying the system. We are collecting feedback from all of you and we are very grateful for that. We have put this Q1 as a deadline for us and our partners to roll this out(before Q1 ends, we are working very hard on this)
We got some updates everyone: automation module is now live. You can have take profit-stop loss automated and entirely on chain execution. We are extending this to be dex agnostic(with aggregators), and will be extended in the next week to include all integrated ecosystems, Cardano,Near,Sui and XRP in addition to the already available Eth and Sol. DCA works, but we need to better test a transaction logging system to enable average buys, for now you can buy and sell on intervals of your choosing. We will share a demo video on how to use tomorrow.
Here is a video on how you could use it, also we are almost done testing the engine with the new Motoko released libs. We thought to finish the upgrade before we open it to the dapps in the ecosystem that way we don’t have to change anything on the go.
Hey everyone, we just unveiled our first routers from EVM chains to Solana with USDC connecting directly from Motoko backend to both SOL and Eth, this was very complicated to streamline for production with a lot of moving parts. We have cracked it finally and expect more routers and addition to make it two way. This will be hooked into our existing aggregators and automation module to allow for swaps and automated actions even across ecosystems.
Automation module has also a liquidity allocation module which moves money based on best APY targets between ecosystems this is being stress tested and error checked but we expect it be ready this Q
This part of the platform is experimental we are still making the system more robust, but we enabled cross chain swaps from ICP backend canisters. There are 3 routes to choose to from ranging from under 2 mins to 20 mins(completely free). From Sol to Eth and to other ecosystems will be finalized in February.
In addition to something a lot faster (30-40 seconds and below) cross chain liquidity pools that are intelligent. You would be able to provide liquidity in any chain, this liquidity can conduct native swaps in its own ecosystem(using aggregators we developed) fronting liquidity, the user deposit can also be swapped then bridged natively through the system. We are thinking of starting the pools with a single asset USDC for unity, then we can use that for swaps and sends to the users. There are other DeFi cross chain applications we are thinking off that would benefit from automation and the ability to route liquidity from different users in different ecosystems.
We have some good news in this very bad market(hold on there everyone). We are in discussions to be fast tracked for a card program issuance. It is with Visa and US bank issuer. We will open up sign ups in the next 48 hours. It’s important we know limits you guys might want and countries we should focus on. How this works is with a collateral account we deposit, we pre authorize spending per person, once the tx is approved funds are moved-routed and settlement happens in USDC. This would work with all the blockchains we integrated with, you will be also have the option to use it as a credit card by locking some funds and spending based on available balance. This is expected to roll out globally in a lot of countries by Q3 and in Q2 maybe a dozen countries depending on the survey. We have passed the compliance-regulatory discussion already and in technical discussions. This is one avenue we are looking at, there are a lot other things going on aside from technical breakthroughs (of which we just connected solana routers to Eth for all assets) our Eth-Sol routers work both ways now and could entirely be automated, user control the funds throughout.
Hey everyone, Sui dex and aggregator are now live.
We have DEX access to Eth,Sol,ICP,XRP,ADA and Sui. Near dex is getting a final polish. That would put at 7, all of them we can offer ai agents that can automate actions and strategies. We have enable automation only to two of them, and we releasing soon The Watcher which basically allocates liquidity based on your strategies and it can route funds to different chains hunting for best APYs
Thank you for trying it out and giving feedback I think ICP vault is awaiting a huge upgrade that was overdue because we did not have time to test it. It’s by far the most developed vault in terms of dex access but it’s needs a lot of optimizations. On 1st of April the entire frontend will restructured we are working with designer to have this ona different level with balance fetching rearchitected across the board.
We are about to release an engine for the ecosystem so any dapp can use we are going to only charge signing cost which we pay to ICP plus http outcalls and compute, it will be around 50-65b cycles depending on complexity, as I understand the existing signer now has 85b so we are still also subsidizing and not charging any margins. This will be by end of week, we welcome ecosystem dapps who want to join the testing phase, you can use this system to attract as many users and offer services at a huge scale, you would be exporting DEXes and automation into your apps. Reach out and let’s coordinate this
I’m currently experimenting with a liquid staking protocol on mainnet. ICP is staked in the NNS, and staking rewards are converted daily into ckBTC and distributed to users on an ongoing basis.
If your engine could enable my users to deposit USDC on Ethereum instead of ICP, that would make for a very interesting demo and integration proof of concept.
My application isn’t audited, so it’s permissioned and primarily intended for testing and learning.
If integrating Menese Protocol makes cross-chain DeFi flows like this possible — especially with a relatively lightweight setup — I’d be willing to try it because if a nobody with zero credentials can implement your engine, any professional team could do so with ease:
If you have documentation, please free to share via d.m and I am willing to spend a few hours to try and fail, while documenting my developer journey
