Project Highlights
ICSpore is a DeFi protocol in the Internet Computer ecosystem. DCA module offers users a powerful tool to create and manage automated Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) strategies for token purchases. Our solution empowers users who prefer non-custodial control of their funds by allowing them to execute trades directly from their own wallets, without relying on centralized exchanges (CEX). Targeted primarily at crypto traders and DeFi enthusiasts, ICSpore addresses the pain points associated with the complexity and manual effort of regular token purchasing. Our protocol ensures a seamless, fully automated experience, all on-chain, with no fees.
Web3 Advantages
Unlike traditional Web2 applications that require users to trust third-party services or centralized exchanges, ICSpore operates entirely on-chain, providing users with full control and transparency. Users can interact with our DCA protocol directly through web applications or any IC agent via the DCA backend canister, all while keeping their assets securely in their own wallets. This decentralized approach ensures that users’ funds remain under their control at all times, aligning with the principles of Web3.

The Internet Computer’s unique features have been instrumental in bringing ICSpore to life. Here are some of the key superpowers that make our project stand out:
• Automated Tasks Out of the Box: The IC ecosystem provides native support for automated tasks without the need for third-party services like Gelato or Chainlink. This allows us to offer seamless, fully on-chain automation for DCA strategies, ensuring reliability and security.
• Reverse-Gas Model: The Internet Computer’s reverse-gas model enhances the user experience by eliminating transaction fees for strategy creation and management. This allows us to provide a frictionless, cost-effective service without compromising on functionality.
• ChainFusion Technology: With the integration of ChainFusion technology, specifically through ckBTC, we’ve chosen the ideal asset for DCA strategies. ckBTC combines the benefits of Bitcoin with the speed and efficiency of the Internet Computer, making it the perfect fit for our automated investment solution.
Go-To-Market Strategy
To attract users, we’re focusing on building strong community engagement within the IC and broader crypto ecosystems. As a DeFi project, we began with the development of our DCA module, which automates token purchases. This is just the first step towards our larger vision of creating a comprehensive DEX aggregator for the IC ecosystem. We plan to partner with relevant DeFi projects and participate in community-driven events and forums to raise awareness about ICSpore. Additionally, we’re leveraging social media channels and collaborating with influencers in the space to reach a broader audience. Our goal is to position ICSpore as the go-to DEX aggregator within the IC ecosystem.
Monetization
ICSpore’s DCA module is designed with 0% commissions, ensuring that users can automate their investment strategies without incurring any fees. Our primary focus is on delivering value to the community and contributing to the growth of the IC ecosystem. While monetization is not the current focus for the DCA module, we are actively developing the tokenomics for our upcoming DEX aggregator. Additionally, we are exploring the possibility of launching an SNS and decentralizing governance in the future to allow the community to take control of the project’s direction.
Status of the Project
The ICSpore DCA protocol is currently in open beta. We have successfully deployed the backend and frontend canisters, integrated with ICPSwap, and implemented on-chain automation for token purchases. We’ve also integrated Internet Identity for secure authentication. As of now, the protocol supports ICP-to-ckBTC swaps, with plans to expand to other tokens in the near future. We are actively working on adding new features, including integration with Plug Wallet and additional tokens such as ckUSDT, ckUSDC, and ckETH.
