I have been in IT for a long time. Started programming in 1973 Basic on a PDP 8. Then moved through IBM mainframes , Burroughs Mainframes Cobol and in the 80’s the wonderful world off Unix and 4GL’s. Last 30 years have kept a foot in the Unix and Windows eco systems. Love technology, but also love people and solving problems … thank god I landed in computing as a career otherwise I would have had my head in the clouds but 1/0 it’s ON or OFF grounded me and gave me some sense of being realistic and removed the vagueness of humans
