The Neurons’ Fund has been suspended for quite some time now, and there has been no official update on when or if it will resume. This prolonged silence is starting to raise concerns across the community.
Without it, many promising teams are left without access to essential early funding, which slows down product development and discourages new builders from entering the space.
More importantly, the lack of support and visibility is impacting user growth, developer engagement, and the overall momentum of the ecosystem.
Neurons fund should never return in form that was previously enabled
The fund is suspended because it was being abused. I am sure if it returns it will not be the same as it was before.
The SNS pathway is being rethought to possibly include milestone based treasury withdrawals, so perhaps the Neuron Fund could be returned if/when that is released.

There’s also “Funded” and ICVC and what about the Olympus Accelerator or Dfinity grants? In addition, why not self-fund or look for outside private investors the old fashioned way? Then be held accountable in a true shark tank fashion which should be a warning to all those seeking “free money” for vaporware with no milestones or needing to update investors on progress.

What is the current status of the Olympus Accelerator? It was funded with an initial grant of 15M USD from DFINITY wasn’t it?
