Proposal: Visualizing Neuron Position on the Dissolve Delay Bonus Graph

Description
The current graph illustrates the compounding growth of the Dissolve Delay Bonus from 0 to 2 years, but it is not sufficiently clear for users to identify the exact position of their neuron at any given moment.

Problem

  • The graph only shows the theoretical curve.
  • Users cannot see where their neuron is currently located.
  • As time passes, the neuron’s position changes, but this dynamic shift is not visually represented.

Proposal

  • Add a current neuron position indicator (dot) on the graph, placed precisely at the point corresponding to the neuron’s dissolve delay.
  • This dot should move dynamically over time as the neuron begins dissolving.
  • Users would then be able to see in real time:
    • The current dissolve delay.
    • How the bonus and Voting Power change day by day.

Benefits

  • Increased transparency in the staking process.
  • More intuitive visualization — users can visually track how their bonus rises or falls.
  • Improved decision-making when planning staking strategies.

Technical Detail

  • The dot could be interactive, showing on hover:
    • Remaining dissolve delay (years/days).
    • Current bonus %.
    • Voting Power multiplier.
  • Updates could occur automatically, daily or per block.

This is already there. The Dissolve delay bonus chart shows it with the green dot on the chart line.

You can use the dissolve delay slider to see the dissolve delay bonus, APY, and daily maturity you would get at either your current dissolve delay or an increased dissolve delay, assuming you’re not already at the max dissolve delay. When you move the slider, the green dot moves along the chart line.
