This is Michael Anapuwa and it is my pleasure to introduce Rentmase to the ICP community.
Rentmase is the world’s first decentralized SuperApp fully hosted on-chain. The SuperApp journey for me, started about 10 years ago when I built Africa’s first home Healthcare aggregator (digital/ virtual hospital). I’ve gone on to build and co-found several other web 2.0 startups since then. When I found out the benefits of building on IC including the security, speed and how cheap it is, I had no other option but to jump onto the bandwagon.
Why SuperApp?:
In the current digital landscape, users often need to navigate through multiple applications to fulfill their diverse needs, ranging from online shopping and banking to social networking and entertainment. This fragmentation leads to a disjointed user experience and inefficiencies in managing different accounts (identities), passwords, and user interfaces.
There is a growing need for a comprehensive solution that integrates various services into a single platform, providing a seamless, intuitive, and efficient user experience. This solution should be secure, scalable, and customizable to cater to the unique needs and preferences of each user.

Marketsize:
The global super apps market size was estimated at $61.30 billion in 2022 and is expected the market to reach $722.4 billion by 2032, with a CAGR of 28.9%. Rentmase is poised to take a significant market-share in the near future (>6% market-share by 2032).
For us at Rentmase, we have two main missions:
Aggregating major services so users wouldn’t have to jump from one platform/ dApp to another to fulfill their unique needs. With this, it is now easier to access all their data within a single dApp, compared to when they would have to gather data from different sources.
Other dApps: we’re simply here to partner up rather than compete with other ecosystem dApps in order to help them reach the next million users.
SuperApp transition: to achieve tokenization/ fractional ownership at scale, we need lots of users & liquidity. Starting with e-commerce makes it easier for us to do that.

Number of users. We currently have 8,500 users signed up and counting. Once proper marketing starts, we expect this number to shoot up drastically. We expect to have a user base of at least a million users in the next 2 years.
Milestones:
What we intend to achieve with the SNS raise=>
E-commerce platform which will host: products/ gadgets (accessories)/ meals, bill payments property rentals, fractional ownership
Fiat crypto payments and withdrawals (On-ramp and Off-ramp to any bank account globally)
Direct swaps $Rem ↔ other tokens across different chains.
Listing on lower exchanges (tier 1 & 2 if we reach max funding commitment)
Chain expansion: integration of a minimum of 5 different chains for– login/ payments.
Omni-chain naming service: we envision a world where our users would be able to own a single identity across different chains. In addition to our superapp plans, this would enable users store all their data in one single dApp, for:
Property/ rental/ ecommerce and personal loans
Help with background checks if they’re trying to rent or purchase properties.
Help with filing taxes, as they will already have their purchase/txn history readily available in
one single place, etc.
AI engine (CogniE): This is a very important piece in our puzzle. There are many practical use cases:
For property management companies: companies would be able to carry out automated
analysis of a potential investment to see if it fits or not. CogniE would be able to pull previous
data of the intended investment location to determine facotrs such as: cost of properties over
time, investment risks etc.
Property loans (credit): this makes it easy to analyze user’s previous data such as credit
history, purchase history and income history to determine eligibility for property loans either
for rent or outright purchase of properties.
Fractional Ownership: Our goal here is to ensure users are able to invest in properties with as low as $50.
We’re starting out with e-commerce, then, tokenization for a simple reason: the existing user base on IC is way too low at the moment to enable fractionalization at scale. Starting out with E-commerce makes it easy to onboard millions of users. The acquired large userbase can then be easily introduced to other services (especially tokenization of properties).

Revenue Model: We are working on different revenue sources:
Commissions from partners and service providers (ranges from 5-50%)
Geo-Targeted advertising: This enables us to place banners strategically on the ecommerce website for non-intrusive ads. Companies will be able to advertise their products based on their customers’ geographical locations. Global product ads will cover everywhere and would definitely cost more.
Rent generated through rental payments on properties and interest from property loans, etc.
Competition:
We are competing with already established giants. There are several SuperApps already existing, with the first being Gojek with over 38 million users spread across Southeast Asia. Another big example is Grab with over 35.5 million users.

There are 18,000 signups on the Rentmase dApp:confetti_ball:. Our target of 1 million users within 2 years is still very much valid. We have a lot of upcoming marketing campaigns with plans to onboard both crypto and non-crypto native users. These campaigns will commence right after the SNS Swap.

We have now successfully onboarded 23,000 users onto the Rentmase dApp. Our SNS Swap proposal is expected to go live soon.
