Proposal 137251 – LaCosta | CodeGov
Vote: REJECT
The proposal registers a new NP No name provided
. The proposal doesn’t follow all the requirements stated here. Also regarding new KYC requirements that should be public please refer to proposal 136573 (Pilot to Assess Node Provider Independence and Improve Decentralization) to verify that the documents provided check every box of public disclosure.
- A Forum post by the NP
- The self-declaration, Proof of Identity and Assessment of Independence documents were uploaded on the IC Wiki
- The hashes of the documents match the hashes in the proposal
- Node Provider ID is new
@Icswitch thanks for the proposal. Unfortunately I think not referencing the hashes in the summary might be an important threshold for rejecting a proposal. They are a nice way of looking if documents have changed since an Add Node Provider
proposal.
Although reviews usually have an hash verification in this type of proposals that could be checked to verify if documents and hence hashes have changed, reviews shouldn’t be a source of truth, only proposals. I rejected the proposal for this reason, and also gives you the opportunity to fix other points in your proposal summary, such as linking all your documents instead of just your wiki page
and proposing a name for your node provider
.

from NP Carbon Twelve with 0 registered nodes in the registry
and 4 type3.1 rewardable_nodes
.
Using the dre tool, I verified that the NO proposed to be removed follows one of the criteria (second not mandatory since this proposal achieves the same end result of 0 rewards).
