My ICP sent to wrong address?

Hello ICP people.

I sent my maturity reward to this address:

2d5b720bf0ddf2f1437260a7aaeec76beae135ea23b28275c9bb411aa3e7569e

And below is the transaction: https://dashboard.internetcomputer.org/account/2d5b720bf0ddf2f1437260a7aaeec76beae135ea23b28275c9bb411aa3e7569e

Is there a way to get my ICP back? It’s 3.65 ICP

And i just copied the first address that received the +0.0001icp thinking it’s the same as the one below. But apparently it wasn’t. So now I’m not sure if my icp is gone or not.

Thanks.

Yes, its gone, someone in ICP community is sending scam transactions to wallets so people unknowingly think its theyr wallet.
Never copy from transaction list. Save it to somewhere and copy it from there.

Hi, please read this thread to avoid unfortunate events.

Thank you. Sucks to lose the ICP but ill be careful next time

Sorry this happened to you. But these people have got thousands of ICPs through this way. I still hope one day NNS supports address book.

Yes, i hope so too. But thankfully it was only 3.65 icp and not a big amount.

This. Luckily wallets like Oisy allow you to add contacts. They then check the addresses in your transaction list to confirm to you if the addresses received are from ones you know, and you can send to contacts rather than pasting in addresses.
