# Ledger fee\_collector\_account doesn't receive fee from icrc2\_approve calls

we have a `fee_collector_account` setup on a ledger. we noticed that when doing a `icrc2_approve` call, the fee is burnt instead of going to the fee\_collector\_account. is this normal?

All other transactions get their fees sent to the collector account so we would’ve expected that the approve call also sends it’s fee to the collector account
