# ICaiBus - Internet Computer AI Bus - PubSub made Easy on the IC

It seems the original post didn’t mention an important feature: This system uses one shot calls so you can broadcast to canisters that you do not own safely without risk that they can block your upgrades. This solves one of the oldest issues with intercansister calls that we’ve been dealing with since genesis. Publish calls from your publisher to the broadcaster are regular calls but always return quickly. The ICaiBus broadcasters send one-shots to subscribers to make sure they can always be upgraded. You can now send messages to undoxed bots, degens, nere-do-wells, and rapscallions.
