Helping SNS DAOs Succeed: Milestones Based Treasury Withdrawals

In general, this list proposed here is extensive. I think the metrics relevant for each project should come out after a conversation with the community. For one community users or followers might be important while for others not so much. There might be a stage in the lifecycle of a project when listing on a CEX is considered critical for the success of it while in the early days it might not be. However, it’s good to actually provide explanations to the community as to why the choice to not list on CEX was made. As @Lomesh-dfn1 explained above this is not meant to be part of a proposal but rather as a way of keeping the community engaged and the teams accountable.

At OpenChat we take funding proposals very seriously because we want to keep the confidence of the DAO.

Here is our 2025 Q2 funding proposal as an example:

Here are all the executed OpenChat treasury transfer proposals:

We could go further, and this proposed template certainly does that. We share some of the concerns of @apotheosis about the danger of creating poor incentives, but on the whole we think the proposed template is a step in the right direction.

When the time comes for our Q3 funding proposal we’ll try to adopt as much of this template as we think makes sense for OpenChat and for that upcoming quarter.
