# Error compiling with ic-cdk-timers 0.7+

👋

While upgrading my packages i’m running into a `linking with `rust-lld` failed: exit status: 1` issue when going above version `0.6.0` of the `ic-cdk-timers` (@AdamS)

im using an M1 mac with OSX 14.3.1 (23D60)

Not sure if usable but part of the error looks like this

This is unfortunately missing the actual error message; can you paste the full thing? (But does `cargo clean` fix it?)

Sorry for the late response but unfortunatly it does not solve the issue;

this are the deps i’m using

```auto
candid = "0.10"
ic-cdk = "0.14"
ic-stable-structures = "0.6"
serde = "1.0"
serde_json = "1.0"
ic-websocket-cdk = "0.3"
ic-cdk-timers = "0.8"
ic-ledger-types = "0.11"
email_address = "0.2"
unicode-segmentation = "1"
icrc-ledger-types = "0.1"

```

but im still getting an error;

```auto

You need to use the same version of ic-cdk and ic-cdk-timers that ic-websocket-cdk is using.
