# Does the nns neuron created by the ledger hardware wallet support transactions?

Does the nns neuron created by the ledger hardware wallet support transactions? I want to transfer my 8 year staked nns neurons to a friend of mine. If it is not supported now, will it be possible in the future?

You will not be able to transfer any tokens locked in a neuron until it is totally dissolved.

There is also no way to transfer neurons to a different owner, no matter that lockup period.
