My project (Motoko + React) works perfectly in v30 draft and redeploys fine, but all new builds (v31 and up) fail instantly with “No backend artifact found.”
Even full composite rebuilds with source changes (build_reset_v31_1, backend_link_marker_v31_2) don’t generate a new .wasm. Redeploying v30 still succeeds, proving this is a container cache freeze, not a code issue.
Checking timestamps shows the Motoko source is newer than the last artifact, yet the compiler never runs.
Could someone from the Caffeine team confirm whether a backend compiler cache purge or container clone from v30 is possible?
I’ve contacted support but haven’t received a response yet.
