Why do you take this stance of caring about decentralization and equal vp while also rooting for adam to take over and centralize every other dao?
One argument I see frequently is if devs cared they would retain control of the vp and continue to build. But, when a dao does this they then get the scrutiny that the vp isn’t decentralized and therfore not a fair system.
That is until you see adam buying all the supply and recentralizing the dao then it turns into a cheer for the takeover and centralization.
I’m just curious on how someone can want and claim decentralization while also supporting a centralized take over by one person.
Btw I’m not a monkey. Your people have been trolling in here the whole time so calm down while trying to throw insults while your not on your burner accounts.
@mico
There are lots of problems with the current SNS framework.
No one on this forum could possibly say otherwise.
What will create true decentralization of projects is success. Because everyone wants to have ownership of successful projects. No one wants the crappers (this is why Adam can buy them all because everyone else was selling obviously).
There are 2 kinds of people in the ECO (generally). There are people who contribute their time/resources/skills/capital to build cool things and contribute. And there are people who make every effort to defraud, deceive, and extract from others. If the last month hasn’t made this obvious to you, I don’t know how to help you.
Guys like Adam @borovan and anvil @infu are clearly a contributors and a builders.
Not everything is black and white but this one is pretty clear.
I just want to know how to cheer for a centralized take over and also complain about decentralized vp.
They seem to be total opposites but people are making it seem that when Adam takes a centralized control the project is now decentralized.
From where I’m standing it seems decentralization only matters when Adam can not buy control. And people cheer for Adam because he pumped their bags while buying control.
But at the core we have people wishing for decentralized voting while pushing for a complete take over.
Well as an unbiased observer (i dont hold nor have i ever held any of the projects adam bought up).
The hope is that with new capital and purpose for these projects they can become successful and with that success will come decentralization.
I think one of the major problems with sns is that we took a bunch of immature projects and attempted to decentralize them before the success/product market fit.
